Gather and measure all ingredients: 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries, 1 cup (145g) frozen blackberries, one ripe banana (chunked), 3/4 cup (180ml) milk, 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla, and salt.
Pour the milk into the blender first, then spoon in the Greek yogurt. Add the vanilla extract and pinch of salt at this stage. Adding liquid first protects the motor and helps everything blend evenly.
Drop the banana chunks into the blender on top of the yogurt, then add the frozen strawberries, followed by the frozen blackberries. Placing frozen items last helps them sit closer to the blades without straining the motor.
Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup over the top of the fruit. If using very ripe berries, start with 1/2 tablespoon and taste after blending.
Secure the lid tightly, start on low speed for 5-10 seconds, then ramp up to high. Blend for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth with no visible chunks. If too thick, add an extra splash of milk (1-2 tablespoons) and blend again.
Taste and adjust: add more honey if needed, or brighten with a tiny squeeze of fresh lemon juice (about 1/2 teaspoon). For a thicker consistency, add a few more frozen berries and blend again for 20 seconds.
Pour into one or two tall glasses. Top with fresh strawberries, blackberries, or a sprinkle of granola if desired. Serve immediately while cold and thick.
