High-powered blender - Vitamix or Ninja recommended for frozen fruit
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Rubber spatula - for scraping down the sides
Glasses or mason jars - for serving
Straws - optional, for serving
- 2 cups frozen peaches - 300g, or fresh peaches, pitted and sliced
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt - 240ml, full-fat or 2% recommended
- 1/2 cup milk - 120ml, of choice - whole milk, almond milk, or oat milk
- 2 tablespoons honey - or maple syrup, adjust to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup ice cubes - 75g, optional, for a thicker/colder smoothie if using fresh peaches
- ground cinnamon - optional, but highly recommended - a pinch
- fresh peach slice - optional, for garnish
If using fresh peaches, wash, pit, peel, and cut into 1-inch chunks. If using frozen peaches, measure out 2 cups (300g) straight from the freezer with no thawing needed.
Add the peaches to the blender first, then spoon in the Greek yogurt, pour in the milk, drizzle in honey, add vanilla extract, and if using fresh peaches, add ice cubes and a pinch of cinnamon.
Secure the lid tightly and blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high. Blend for 45 to 60 seconds or until completely smooth. If too thick, add 2 tablespoons of extra milk and resume blending.
Stop the blender and taste the smoothie. Add extra honey for sweetness, more milk to thin it, or a few more frozen peaches or ice cubes to thicken it, then blend briefly to incorporate.
Pour the smoothie immediately into glasses or mason jars. Garnish with a fresh peach slice on the rim, a dusting of cinnamon, or a drizzle of honey. Serve right away for the best texture.
- Use frozen peaches for the best texture. They act like ice cubes and make the smoothie naturally thick and frosty without diluting the flavor.
- Don't skip the vanilla extract. Even just half a teaspoon adds a bakery-like depth that makes the smoothie taste extra special.
- Add liquid gradually. It's easy to make a smoothie too thin. Start with less milk and add more only if needed.
- Use full-fat or 2% Greek yogurt. The fat content gives the smoothie a richer mouthfeel and helps keep you fuller longer.
- Sweeten after tasting. Peaches vary in natural sweetness, so always taste before adding sweetener.
- Clean the blender immediately. Rinse the blender right after use by filling it halfway with water and a drop of dish soap, then blending for 10 seconds.
- Storage: Store leftover smoothie in an airtight jar for up to 24 hours. Shake or re-blend before drinking as separation is normal.
- Freezer packs: Portion peaches, yogurt (in a separate container), and add-ins into individual zip-lock bags and freeze. In the morning, dump into the blender with milk and blend for a quick meal prep option.
- Make it vegan: Swap the Greek yogurt for coconut yogurt and use almond or oat milk for a fully plant-based version.
- Boost the protein: Add one scoop of vanilla protein powder or a tablespoon of almond butter to increase the protein content significantly.
