Measure 2 cups (300g) frozen peaches, 1/2 cup (120g) Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon (21g) honey, and 1/2 teaspoon (1.5g) vanilla extract. Pour 1 cup (240ml) almond milk into a liquid measuring cup. If using fresh peaches, measure 1/2 cup (75g) ice cubes.
Pour almond milk into the blender first to protect the blades and create a vortex that pulls frozen fruit down effectively.
Spoon in Greek yogurt, drizzle in honey, and add vanilla extract. If using flaxseed or protein powder, add them now before the fruit for better blending.
Add frozen peaches (and ice cubes if using fresh peaches). Add banana now if using, broken into pieces for even blending.
Secure lid firmly and blend on low for 15 seconds to break up fruit, then increase to high for 45-60 seconds until completely smooth. Scrape down sides with a spatula and blend another 15-20 seconds if needed.
Taste and adjust sweetness with extra honey or brightness with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice (about 1 teaspoon / 5ml). If too thick, add almond milk in 2-tablespoon (30ml) increments; if too thin, add more frozen peaches.
Pour into chilled glasses or smoothie cups and serve immediately with a peach slice garnish or light cinnamon dusting if desired.
